The EBM in Sierra Leone

The EBM has been involved in this West African country since the foundation of the Baptist Convention of Sierra Leone (BCSL) in 1974. At the beginning, the most important “missionary post” was in Mambolo where the European missionaries were responsible for the development of the congregation work, a clinic and a middle school.

Today, the EBM is involved in evangelisation and the founding of congregations, is a supporter of the eye clinic in Lunsar, promotes the education of pastors, helps with food and during disasters, is involved in primary schools, secondary schools, in vocational training, literacy campaigns and supports the congregational youth work of Sierra Leone.

€ 175,000 is needed per year for the EBM's missionary work here.
