Diadema is one of the Satellite cities in the metropolitan area of Sao Paulo, which consists of countless slums (favelas). Since the middle of the eighties, there has been impressive missionary work at the interface of such slums in which up to 50,000 people can live.
Aid that is needed here primarily goes to children that have been left on their own while their parents work. The slums are breeding grounds for crime, drug dealing and prostitution. Here we want prevention with a day care centre for children of 2 to 15 years of age. 120 – 150 children are to benefit from this colourful, but also solid support. Offers for parents and contacts with you lend additional weight to the work.
You will receive a report about “your” slum children in Diadema and the latest group photo every year.
