The EBM in Mozambique
The EBM’s relationship with Mozambique goes back to the union of Baptist congregations in Portugal and the GDR (German Democratic Republic). The relationship with Mozambique resulted from a Baptist exchange student who then founded an official framework within the EBM in 1991 - after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
In 1992 the Convenção Baptista de Mocambique (CBM) was included in the EBM. The work in the CBM is also supported by missionaries and volunteers.
The EBM spends € 76,000 per year for the efforts in Mozambique.
