Proclaiming a holistic gospel – this must be our conviction: not just preaching and calling on people to make a faith decision without perceiving their real life situations (living below subsistence level, e.g.). However, it must not mean reducing the gospel to food, clothing and education either. This conviction was put into practice when new mission work was launched in Cotia, in cooperation with the Children’s Home. So a new church, a mission project, was launched in this city neighbouring São Paulo. Pastor Manfredo Landenberger, the home director’s husband, took on leadership. He is very dynamic: he approaches people and invites them to the evangelisticmeetings. Many people living nearby know him. He lives his faith in such a convincing and joyful way that he is respected and accepted.
