Nava Nirikshana (New Hope) Children’s Home

“Nava Nirikshana” means “New Hope”, which makes the claim and the vision clear for the 60 Adivasi children living there. The mostly animistic tribes by origin live on the furthest edge of Indian society and often only make a living as day labourers, so-called coolies. Orphans, half-orphans and the children of prostitutes have no real chance to feed themselves sufficiently or to obtain an education at school under these circumstances. This is precisely what we want to offer the children in this home.

But not only that, since irrespective of their background or religion, they should also enjoy the love of God. Qualified employees support the children in all their questions about life and also convey ethical and spiritual discipline.

The home was opened in the middle of 2009 and is run by our partner Abundant Life Ministerial Associates (ALMA), with INDIENHILFE (INDIA AID) having assumed the financing of the construction and operation in full.
