This latest children’s home supported by INDIENHILFE finally opened in October 2010 after about one year of construction. The beginning and continuation of construction were constantly delayed by the strong rainfall. Now, a total of 60 children receives a new home here.

Thanks to the connection to the nearby local congregation in Christiva Mitta, our partner Nellore Baptist Field Association wants to ensure that the children not only receive daily care with meals, an education and thoughtful support, but also have the opportunity to experience Jesus Christ and enter into a life with God through Him.

The Nellore Baptist Field Association’s charitable commitment is an important contribution and a testimony of how in a Hindu environment the Baptist congregations can promote the welfare of the population. It supports the wish to live as a community today as Acts 2:47 describes: “...having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
