The desire for adventure alone is not enough to handle daily life and overcome the challenges of life in another culture. It is important to us that our colleagues and missionaries use their professional and personal expertise in a qualified way and are in touch with their spiritual calling. Requirements for working as a missionary for EBM
The work effort of our missionaries represents a very special challenge.
Only the desire for adventure is not enough here. It is also important for us that our missionaries are in touch with their spiritual calling.
If you are interested in the work of our mission, you should meet the following requirements:
- Spiritual motivation
- Membership in a Baptist congregation for at least 2 years
- Diploma from a trade school or a university (professional experience is desired)
- General gift for language and good knowledge of at least one foreign language
- Good state of health (certificate from a doctor on physical and psychological health)
- Ability to work in a team and pleasure in being in contact with people
- Much emotional and physical robustness
- Biblical-theological basic training of at least 2 month
- Two personal references
- Minimum age of 24
- Possession of a driver´s license
- Acceptance of the "General Principles of Work at the EBM"
