INDIENHILFE has supported children’s homes of different partner organisations in India for many years. However, the organisation WATCH runs the unique children’s home “Karunya Nilyaram” (which means "Home for Children in Crisis") in Bangarupalyam: Children whose parents have AIDS or have already died from the immunodeficiency disorder live here.

The great need of many children in India is intensified by the factor of HIV/AIDS. AIDS orphans and children whose parents have AIDS and can no longer care for them are completely dependent on help from outside in order not to get into the vicious circle of child labour.

After providing individual support in the past, EBM INDIA will financially support this children's home with its 51 children from July 2010 for the next three years.
