Proclaiming a holistic gospel – this must be our conviction: not just preaching and calling on people to make a faith decision without perceiving their real life situations (living below subsistence level, e.g.). However, it must not mean reducing the gospel to food, clothing and education either.

This conviction was put into practice when a mission church was founded in Ijuí in connection with the Children’s Home. Many people from the surrounding districts could be reached in this way. This new church is growing and has become the spiritual home to the “Children’s Home community”, i.e. parents, children, staff, etc. MASA supports this mission work.
