Retreat of the EBM Missionaries in Douala, Cameroon

From 22-25 March the retreat of the EBM INTERNATIONAL missionaries from the Central African countries took place. More than 20 people from Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, Germany and France met to share about their ministries, to encourage each other, to pray for each other and to learn more about each other. 6 different nationalities were represented in the group: Missionaries from Germany, France, Switzerland and Spain as well as local co-workers and guests.

EBM INTERNATIONAL supports in these countries a variety of churches, medical projects and schools. Many missionaries are working in these countries as church workers, in pastoral training, in medical institutions and to support church planters.

The regular retreats from EBM INTERNAIONAL give the General Secretary Rev. Christoph Haus the possibility to have personnel talks with all the missionaries. It is a great desire of EBM to remain in close contact with its missionaries on the mission field.

The retreat was planned by the Regional Representative of EBM for Central Africa, Dr. Timothée Bouba Mbima. He is responsible for the retreats and the work done by EBM INTERNATIONAL in the region. Dr. Bouba Mbima is Pastor of our partner church the Baptist Union of Cameroon (UEBC) and lives with his wife and their 3 children in Yaoundé.
